Privacy Notice

Version 2026-10-28

What stays on your computer

Your projects, leads, contacts, notes, calls and follow-ups are stored only on your computer. We do not receive them. Spotwin has no account, no analytics and no tracking.

What leaves your computer

Searches you run are sent from your computer to the online sources that list businesses, as part of the search.

Place names you type are looked up with public map services (OpenStreetMap’s Nominatim and Komoot’s Photon) to find the area to search.

If you enter a Spotwin Pro licence key, it is sent to the payment provider that sold it (for example Dodo Payments or Gumroad), to check it. When you buy, that provider handles your payment and details under its own privacy policy.

Spotwin may read a small public file from its website, about once a day, to see whether a newer version exists. The request contains nothing about you, but the website’s host can see your internet address, as any website can. Spotwin only tells you about an update; it never installs one by itself.

Links you open, such as WhatsApp or a website, open in their own apps under their own policies.

The people in your leads

If your leads include personal information, such as an owner’s name or mobile number, you are responsible for it under data-protection law: having a lawful reason to keep and use it, keeping it safe, and deleting it or stopping contact when asked.

Changes

If this notice changes, Spotwin will show you the new version.
